treia studios

TREIA STUDIOS is dedicated to creating projects that integrate art and ecology for the benefit of community.  The word TREIA is a contraction of the English word “tree” and the Greek word “tria” meaning “three”.  As such TREIA STUDIOS, featuring the artistic works of Maria Michails, adopts what we call our ‘three trees’ principle: that the collaborative efforts of art, science and community has the potential to yield creative, innovative and equitable solutions to sustainable living. TREIA STUDIOS is a nomadic studio, allowing place to determine the projects.  A deep commitment has been made to maintain a minimum impact -- in living, travel, and production.
